FAQ
Q: What is Ultimate?
A: Ultimate is a fast, athletic game played with a frisbee. People describe it as netball with a frisbee on a rugby pitch, but to REALLY find out what Ultimate is all about, come down to one of our games.
Q: Wow, that sounds exciting. So what are the Rules?
A: The basic rules of Ultimate can be found
here.
Q: I'm a beginner, and this sounds really difficult...
A: No, please don't give up already! You really only need to know two throws: the backhand, which almost everyone can throw from playing at the beach, and the forehand, which only takes a few games to learn.
Once you've mastered the backhand and the forehand the game of Ultimate is really easy to learn, and everyone playing the game is SUPER friendly, so we'll help you figure things out. So don't worry, and give it a try.
Q: OK, you've convinced me. So where do you play?
A: Currently we play pickup games with UWA at McGillivray Oval, Mt Claremont at 6:30pm on Monday nights.
Subject to interest, we may be having other sessions at the Joondalup and Mt Lawley campuses
